Apart from the political leaders, massive teams of security forces accompanied them. KCR's two-day visit has created a lot of political reactions in Maharashtra from the Opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi who found the BRS intentions ānot honourableā.
Massive show of strength
From Pragati Bhavan, the entourage travelling along the road was captured by drone shots and people were seen waving pink flags along the road. The BRS entourage is being seen as a massive show of strength in Maharashtra. BRS plans to contest 48 Lok Sabha seats and 288 Assembly seats in Maharashtra. The entry to Solapur saw people on both sides greeting the convoy with pink flags and flower petals. Slogans saying āAab ki baar, kisan sarkaarā were raised. KCR, who was sitting on the left seat of the bus, was seen responding to the cheers of the people.

KCRās fifth visit to Maharashtra in 2023
KCR, along with his team, will have a darshan of Lord Vitthal-Rukmini temple at Pandarpur and Solapur on Tuesday. He will also visit Tulija Bhawani temple in Tulijapur in Osmanabad district ahead of Ashadi Ekadashi festivities. The BRS local teams are facilitating the steps for his visit to the temples.
Congress says BRS is misleading people
Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary Sachin Sawant said, āThere is no harm in any party coming to the state but the BRS is misleading people with false claims. The picture that they are projecting is not true. They are handing out money to people and making them members of their party. This is not good for democracy. They can work in the region and see the results.ā
BRS with its entourage of 600 cars during the festival season is going to dampen the spirits of the people coming for the yatra in the temples. āIt is Ekadashi time and there are one million people gathering for the Ashadi Wari. The administration is strained because of this visit. Is it right for KCR to bring more people from outside?ā
Nana Patole, president of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee said, āBRS is BJPās B team. The people of Maharashtra know who benefits from the division of votes. In Telangana, BRS is facing a crisis and many of its leaders are joining the Telangana Congress party.ā
āHe had also met Uddhav Thackeray for support? What happens now?ā questioned Congress leaders.
NCP on alert
There are members from the NCP party who are joining BRS in the Marathwada region. In Solapur, it is rumoured NCPās Bhagirath Bhalke is expected to join BRS. Bhalke lost to BJP in the by-elections and it is alleged that he is now going to switch over to BRS.
