Come, take a tour of state-of-the-art secretariat building in Hyderabad

New Telangana Secretariat has been named after the architect of the Indian constitution Dr. BR. Ambedkar.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said the tallest statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar is being built next to the Secretariat which will serve as a reminder to public representatives and officials to perform their duty honestly.

A martyrs memorial is being constructed in front of the secretariat in memory of the people who laid down their lives for Telangana state.

KCR expressed hope that with the inspiration of the martyrs' sacrifices and Ambedkar's aspirations, the secretariat will become a symbol of good governance.

Chief Minister said Dr. BR Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat will be constructed according to the aspirations of the Telangana people.

Telangana secretariat is the only building in the country that used a large amount of Dholpur stone. Chief Minister inspected the terracotta wall cladding.

Hi-tech security systems including state-of-the-art CCTV cameras, strong rooms for records, and well-laid-out conference halls for the national and international guests make the secretariat stand out in the country.
