Communal violence in Bhainsa town again, six injured

The incident occurred at Zulifkar lane on late Sunday evening when an altercation broke out between two groups over modified motorbike silencers, officials said.
"According to preliminary reports, a scuffle broke out between two bikers at Zulikar lane on late Sunday night. Later their supporters joined in and stone-pelting ensued. At least one bike was set ablaze and six suffered injuries," a senior officer at Nirmal Collectorate told NewsMeter.

A video showing a house in flames has now gone viral. Senior police officials said additional forces have been deployed to control the situation. A curfew-like situation prevailed in the area. During the clashes, couple of police personnel and journalist covering the incident suffered injuries. The victims have been shifted to a private hospital in Hyderabad.
Rachakonda police have warned anti-social elements against fanning communal violence in the city. Police have warned people against spreading rumors and sharing videos on social media to inflame passions. "WhatsApp admins to keep watch on postings and immediately delete controversial posts. The general public is requested to Dial 100 and seek clarification on any news" police said.
