Congress list: 38 applications received from Yellandu, 1006 aspirants for Assembly elections

Hyderabad: Yellandu Assembly constituency has received the highest applicants numbering 32 for the Assembly elections of 2023.

The constituency is a scheduled tribe-reserved constituency of Telangana and is a part of the Mahabubabad Lok Sabha constituency.

A total of 1006 applications were received from 119 constituencies by the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee. Only one application received in Kodangal which is of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Revanth Reddy. Jagityala also has only one application from T Jeevan Reddy.

The TPCC has charged Rs 50,000 per candidate for the general category and Rs 25,000 per candidate from scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.
