`Country is in danger: KCR after releasing BJP `poaching video; says judiciary only hope

Armed with `video evidence', Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said he would be sending MLA poaching footage to the Supreme court Chief Justice, judges, High Court Chief Justice, all CMs, DGPs and media houses to expose BJP's dirty games.

KCR said the state government submitted all the evidence on 4 MLAs poaching case including 3-hour video footage to Telangana High Court in which three arrested persons allegedly offered Rs 100 crore to four TRS MLAs to join the BJP.

"This footage will also be sent to the Supreme court Chief Justice, judges, High Court Chief Justice, all CMs, party presidents, DGPs, and media houses including PTI and ANI. I will also submit it to CBI, ED, and CVC. I appeal Supreme Court CJ, Judges, and High court CJ and judge please save the country. The country is in danger," he said.

He requested the Judiciary to come to the rescue of the country. "I humbly appeal to the judicial system to kindly protect democracy. We submitted evidence of call data and laptop data in thousands of voluminous pages. No need to tamper," he said.

The chief minister said it was not good on part of the BJP leaders to poach MLAs and topple the state governments. "The accused in TRS MLAs poaching case openly mentioned PM, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP leaders JP Nadda and BL Santosh in the discussion with four TRS MLAs. Last month, Ram Chandra Bharati attempted to meet Rohit Reddy. Rohit lodged a complaint with the home minister," he said.

KCR said whenever the country has been in a crisis, the judiciary has come to its rescue. "The accused told the TRS MLAs that a 24-member gang was operating in the country to buy MLAs and topple the anti-BJP government. It was a shame on part of the BJP for encouraging such acts which are against the democratic spirit. The accused also created multiple aadhar cards, Pan cards, and other official documents and committed financial fraud to buy the MLAs. They also told TRS MLAs about the manipulation of the EVMs to win the elections," he said.

The chief minister said the revelations in the videos and the proof collected in the poaching episode have revealed the startling facts of how the BJP was trying to lower the standards even the election commission and election structure.
