Telangana reported 516 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
On Friday, the state had reported 462 cases. There is an 11.6 % increase in the last 24 hours.
The number of active cases in the state currently stands at 4,784 while the total number of cases reported so far stands at 8,01,922.
Hyderabad reported the highest number of cases (261) in the last 24 hours followed by Medchal-Malkajgiri (43), Rangareddy (43), and Mancherial (34).
The rest of the districts in the state have a two-digit or one-digit number of cases.
A total of 434 people recovered from coronavirus statewide in a span of 24 hours taking the recovery rate of 98.89%.
26,976 samples were tested during the past 24 hours. The results of 631 swab samples are awaited.
The test positivity rate as of now stands at 1.9%.
