Amaravati: From YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to Nara Chandrababu Naidu, several leaders contesting for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Parliament elections declared their family assets.

While a few leaders are always expected to be in the Rs 100 Cr club, leaders including Butta Renuka, Vemireddy Prashanti Reddy, Lokam Madhavi, and Asmith Reddy were new entrants in the elite bloc.

Who are the leaders in the 100 Cr club?

1. Chandrababu Naidu

Former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his wife's assets have increased more than 41 percent to 931 Cr in the last five years. The family has assets worth.

Naidu's wife Nara Bhuvaneswari, who filed a nomination for her husband at Kuppam, holds 2.26 crore shares of Heritage Foods Ltd worth Rs 337.85 apiece (market value). The total value of the shareholding stands at nearly Rs 764 crore as against Rs 545.76 crore in 2019.

According to the affidavit filed by the T.D.P. chief, in 2019, Naidu's family owned movable and immovable assets, worth Rs 574.3 crore.

Bhuvaneswari also possesses 3.4 kg of gold and nearly 41.5 kg of silver.

The TDP. leader individually owns movable assets worth Rs 4.80 lakh and immovable assets worth Rs 36.31 crore, and the family has total liabilities of over Rs 10 crore. Naidu also owns one Ambassador car valued at Rs 2.25 lakh. According to the affidavit, Naidu's name was listed in 24 F.I.R.s spanning several cases.

Naidu and his spouse have movable assets worth Rs 4,80,438 and Rs 810,37,08,883 respectively.

The immovable assets of Naidu are Rs 36,31,00,481, his spouse is Rs 85,10,41,128

Naidu has shared in Heritage Foods Limited, Unlisted Shares (at Acquisition Cost): Megabid Finance & Investment Private Limited, Nirvana Holdings Private Limited- Rs.3,28,80,000 and Heritage Finlease Limited

He studied M.A., S.V.U. College, Tirupati.

There are 24 cases on him which include:

Conspired and instigated T.D.P. Cadre with a common motive to form an unlawful assembly, hurled abuses, and instigated an attack on the Y.C.P. activists with weapons.

She addressed a gathering from a vehicle with loudspeakers, disobeying a Police Officer's orders and threatening Anaparthy.

Irregularities in the decision-making process while implementing a policy decision to provide "Free Sand", thereby causing loss to the state exchequer.

During his journey from Hyderabad to Andhra Pradesh, Naidu stopped his convoy, got out of the car, and showed two fingers to the gathering, violating COVID-19 protocol/guidelines. T.D.P. activists pelted stones, water bottles, and footwear at the vehicle of V. Vijaya Sai Reddy, causing damage to the windshield of his car.

There was a violation of the A.P. State Government E-Procurement Policy and other rules when A.P.State FiberNet Limited awarded contracts to M/s. Tera Software Limited.

2.YS Jagan Mohan Reddy

According to the poll affidavit submitted by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the upcoming A.P. State Assembly elections, Jagan's wealth increased 41 percent from 2019 to 2024. Jagan (51) is contesting from the Pulivendla assembly constituency in the Kadapa district of A.P.

His wealth increased from Rs 375 crores in 2019 to Rs 529.87 crores in 2024. While his spouse, YS Bharathi Reddy's assets increased from Rs 124 crores to Rs 176.30 crores in five years, his total wealth, including his daughter's assets, stood at Rs 779.8 crores.

A large chunk of Jagan's assets is in the form of fixed deposits, insurance, loans given to others, and immovable assets. It may be recalled that Jagan gave his sister Y S Sharmila a loan of Rs 82 crore, which was disclosed in her affidavit. As a chief minister, he does have a fleet of cars; however, in person, he owns none, as per the document.

His total income is Rs 57,74,97,600 while his spouse's is Rs 10. 96 Cr

The couple have movable assets worth Rs 602.46. Jagan owns a Scorpio bulletproof car.

Jagan's immovable assets, such as commercial and agricultural properties, total Rs 46,78,89,930, while Bharathi Reddy's assets are worth Rs 56,92,19,841. Together, their immovable assets amount to Rs 103.71 crores. The affidavit showed that his liabilities are Rs 1.10 crores, while Bharathi's are Rs 7.41 crores.

Jagan's wife, Bharati Reddy, owns Rs 5.3 crore worth of gold and diamonds

Criminal cases- 26 ( both by state and federal investigation agencies) that included money laundering, defamation, criminal intimidation, promoting enmity between classes in connection with election, printing, or engraving matter known as defamatory.

Jagan owes these people:

3. Rainbow Children's Medicare Ltd

4. Infinite Liver Alliance Pvt Ltd.

He studied Bachelor of Commerce, at Pragathi Maha Vidyalaya-Osmania University.

Investments—According to the poll affidavit, CM Jagan, his wife Bharathi Reddy, and his two daughters, YS Harshini Reddy and YS Varsha Reddy, have investments worth crores.

A large part of Jagan's investments is in Standard Power Company Pvt Limited, Bharati Cements and Classic Realty Pvt Ltd. Bharati's total investments stood at Rs 53 crores, which include Sandur Power Company Pvt Ltd, Saraswathi Power and Industries Pvt Ltd, Classic Realty Pvt Ltd, and others.

The CM holds a degree in Commerce from Pragati Maha Vidyalaya, Osmania University, Hyderabad. He completed his highest education in 1994. He owns large chunks of land in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.

3. Pawan Kalyan

Pithapuram Jana Sena Party chief and Pithapuram MLA candidate Pawan Kalyan has assets worth Rs 151.22 crores (Rs 1,51,22,23,482). The JSP chief is contesting against Vanga Geetha from YSRCP for the 2024 AP State Assembly elections.

Pawan Kalyan owns 11 vehicles including a Harley Davidson, Benz, Range Rover, Jeep, and a Toyota land cruiser.

Eight cases are pending against the actor-turned politicians including:

- Rash driving sitting on a rooftop car in which Pawan Kalyan is A2.

- Allegations against former CM K Chandrasekhar Rao in a political public meeting.

- Allegations against the AP volunteer system.

Financials

His total income for 2022-23 is Rs 12,20,81,800. As per the poll affidavit, Pawan Kalyan has movable assets worth Rs 41,65,16,731 while his spouse has Rs 1,00,22,140.

Assets

Regarding the assets of his dependants, his four children, Akira has Rs 89,38,728, Aadya has Rs 87,77,168, Polina has Rs 89,17,287 and Mark has Rs 86,25,558. Pawan Kalyan’s son Akira Desai owns an Audi Q7 gifted by his mother Renu Desai.

The couple have immovable assets worth Rs 96,36,02,811.

Liabilities

Pawan Kalyan has liabilities of Rs 65,76,84,453. He has due with Haarika Hassine creations, Mythri movie makers, and DVV Entertainments. He has taken a personal loan of Rs 2,00,00,000 from Konidela Surekha, his brother Chiranjeevi’s wife.

He studied SSLC at St Joseph English Medium High School, Nellore.

4. YS Sharmila

Congress Kadapa candidate YS Sharmila owns assets worth 182.82 Cr.

Sharmila, sister of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, joined the Congress and is fighting against her brother Jagan and cousin YS Avinash Reddy. According to her affidavit, Sharmila took a loan of Rs 82,58,15,000 from Jagan and Rs 19,56,682 from Jagan's spouse, YS Bharati Reddy.

Her income is Rs 97,14,213.

She has movable assets of Rs 123,26,65,163 and her spouse has Rs 45,19,72,529. Sharmila has gold jewelry worth Rs 3,69,36,000 and gemstone jewelry worth Rs 4,61,90,688. Her husband has gold jewelry worth Rs 81,60,000 and gemstones worth Rs 42,60,461.

Her immovable Assets are Rs 9,29,58,180 and her spouse's are Rs 4,05,92,365.

Sharmila has liabilities worth Rs 82,77,71,682.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from St Anna College for Women, Osmania, and an MBA from Osmania University.

There are 8 pending cases, including MCC violation.

5. Nara Lokesh

Mangalagiri M.L.A. candidate Lokesh Nara and his spouse Brahmini have assets worth Rs 543 Cr.

The total income of Lokesh is Rs 1,41,64,363 and her spouse's is Rs 7,57,04,812.

His movable Assets are Rs 341,68,22,459 and Brahmini are Rs 45,06,30,277 with shares in Heritage Foods, Reliance.

His Immovable Assets are Rs 92,31,09,546 and spouse is Rs 35,59,21,125. Brahmini owns land in Madhapur, Mon-agricultural land in Ranga Reddy, commercial building in Chennai.

Lokesh and his father, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, jointly constructed a house worth Rs 7,99,59,988.

The TDP leader holds over 1 Cr shares of Heritage Foods Ltd floated by his family worth Rs 339.11 crore at Rs 337.85 apiece. His wife Brhamani is currently Executive Director of Heritage Foods.

6. Butta Renuka

The Yemmiganur constituency candidate Renuka has family assets worth Rs 162.49 Cr.

The total income of Renuka is Rs 1,72,28,196 Cr which includes Butta Hospitality, Butta Convention Services, and Butta Infrastructure Private Limited.

Her Movable Assets are worth Rs 68,80,29,098 Cr (jewelry, shares, bank account, motor vehicles and Immovable Assets- Rs 18,75,00,000 (lands, commercial buildings, agricultural lands, apartments)

Total Liabilities are Rs 3,91,30,700 (vehicle loan, mortgage loan).

7. Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy

Punganur YSRCP MLA candidate Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy is one of the richest with 236.66 Cr assets.

His income is Rs 57,78,587. Peddireddy has Movable Assets worth Rs 10,59,43,266 (gold, silver, and shares) and Immovable Assets worth Rs 114,25,00,000

He studied M.A.Phd, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.

7. Vemireddy Prashanti Reddy

Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy, the TDP MLA candidate for Kovuru constituency, and her husband, Former Rajya Sabha MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, who is contesting the Nellore parliamentary seat, own assets worth Rs 723 Cr.

Her income is Rs 2,28,07,760, while her spouse Rs 4,41,04,620.

Prasanthi's movable assets are- Rs 46,94,59,995 while her Spouse is 464,43,20,644. She has shares in M/s V.P.R. Mining Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, Rithwik Green Power and Aviation, and V.P.R. Balabhadra Coal Mine.

Her Immovable Assets are Rs 30,11,93,087, has agricultural lands in Bangalore, Nellore, and Maharashtra and residential buildings in Kondapur, Nellore, Gandipeta, Chennai, and Karnataka.

Actor-turned-politician Hindupur T.D.P. candidate Balakrishna owns family assets worth 188.99 Cr. He is a two-time M.L.A. and is contesting for the third time.

His income is Rs 10,02,14,200.

His Movable Assets are worth Rs 81,63,31,40 and his spouse's are Rs 140,38,81,94.

While his Immovable Assets are Rs 105.37 crore, his spouse has Rs 51.20 Cr.
