Decide in four weeks on BRS MLAs who defected: Telangana HC to Speaker

The High Court was hearing a writ petition seeking a direction to the Speaker, the TG Legislative Assembly to disqualify BRS MLAs, who defected to Congress.
Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy the Secretary, of the TG legislative Assembly to place before the Speaker all three 3 disqualification petitions for fixing the schedule, filing of pleadings, documents, personal hearings, etc.
The secretary will also file a status report on the schedule of the Speaker before the Registrar Judicial, High Court within 4 weeks.
āIf the Speaker does not fix a schedule for hearing the disqualification petitions, then the court will re-open the cases and appropriate orders will be passed,ā the court said.
