Delhi Liquor Policy Scam: ED arrests Aurobindo Pharma director Sarath Chandra Reddy
He is being questioned for money laundering. Sarath has been under an ED lens for a while.

Enforcement Directorate has arrested Aurobindo Pharma director P. Sarath Chandra Reddy and Vinay babu from Hyderabad in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. He is being questioned for money laundering. Sarath has been under an ED lens for a while.
Penaka Sharat Chandra Reddy is the son of Penaka Ramprasad Reddy of-currently the non-executive director of Aurobindo. Sharath is brother to Rohit Reddy- son-in-law of a Rajya Sabha member.
Sarath was earlier questioned in the matter of hawala transactions as well. He had allegedly played a key role in knowing the policy decisions in the case of the Delhi liquor scam.As part of this investigation, the ED officials also inquired into Sarath Chandra Reddy's links with many political leaders and companies. Earlier raids were conducted on Sarath Chandra Reddy's offices and apartments and many important documents have been seized.
Pennaka Sarath Chandra Reddy was taken into custody after three days of questioning in the Delhi Liquor scam.
