Derailment of goods train in Odisha: SCR cancels 3 trains, diverts 16

Hyderabad: On 21 November, the South Central Railway (SCR) canceled and diverted several trains following the derailment of a goods train in the Bhadrak-Khurda Road section of the East Coast Railway. SCR issued two bulletins regarding the same.

Three trains have been cancelled on Monday. They are train 22863 from Howrah to SMVT Bengaluru, 22841 from Santragachi to Tambaram, and 18045 from Shalimar to Hyderabad.

A total of 16 trains have been diverted. They are:

1. 12841 from Shalimar to Chennai Central is diverted via Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur City, and Cuttack.

2. 18048 from Vasco Da Gama to Shalimar is diverted via Cuttack, Angul, Sambalpur City, Jharsuguda.

3. 12840 from Chennai Central to Howrah is diverted via Cuttack, Angul, Sambalpur City, and Jharsuguda.

4. 12665 from Howrah to Kanyakumari is diverted via Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur City, and Cuttack.

5. 18046 from Hyderabad to Shalimar is diverted via Jaroli.

6. 22852 from Mangalore to Santragachi is diverted via Jaroli.

7. 22641 from Thiruvananthapuram to Shalimar is diverted via Jaroli.

8. 12704 from Secunderabad to Howrah is diverted via Sambalpur.

9. 20890 from Tirupati to Howrah is diverted via Sambalpur.

10. 12246 from SMVT Bengaluru to Howrah is diverted via Sambalpur.

11. 12864 from SMVT Bengaluru to Howrah is diverted via Jaroli.

12. 22305 from SMVT Bengaluru to Jasidih is diverted via Jaroli.

13. 22808 from Chennai Central to Santragachi is diverted via Jaroli.

14. 12703 from Howrah to Secunderabad is diverted via Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Nayagarh, and Jakhapura.

15. 22605 from Purulia to Villupuram is diverted via Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Nayagarh, and Jakhapura.

16. 15906 from Dibrugarh to Kanyakumari is diverted via Hijili, Tatanagar, Nayagarh, and Jakhapura.
