Digital Health Profile card for all in Telangana soon; link with Aarogyasri for better treatment
The chief minister said that medical colleges should be linked to hospitals so that there is no shortage of doctors

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has ordered the officials to prepare a digital health profile for everyone in the Telangana State and take adequate measures for it. The CM suggested linking the digital health profile card with a unique number which will enable it to provide required treatment in emergencies. The health profile card will also be linked with the Aarogyasri card.
During a high-level review of the functioning of the Medical and Health Department at the Secretariat on Monday, the CM discussed the issue of removing the mandated requirement of a white ration card to avail of the Aarogyasri benefit. Due to this provision, the number of people demanding for new white ration cards increased abnormally in the state.
The officials are directed to bring in a common policy under which the nursing, physiotherapy and paramedical colleges are being established on the premises of the medical colleges soon.
Complete super specialty hospitals
The CM ordered the completion of the construction of TIMS Super Specialty Hospitals in Warangal, LB Nagar, Sanath Nagar and Alwal on a war footing.

CM Revanth inquired about the details of medical, nursing and paramedical colleges in the state which are yet to be started. The CM suggested to the officials to look into setting up a medical college and a nursing college in Kodangal.
The chief minister said that complete medical services should be made available at BibinagarāAIIMS which will also benefit the people of Khammam, Warangal and Nalgonda districts. The complete functioning of the AIIMS will also reduce the burden on Osmania and NIMS hospitals.
Focus on providing all services in AIIMS at Bibi Nagar
The CM ordered the officials to visit AIIMS and prepare a complete report. CM Revanth said that he will also meet the Union health minister, if necessary, and explain the necessity of providing full medical services in the AIIMS.
The chief minister asked the officials to develop alternative facilities so that people of all parts of the state need not only rely on Hyderabad for medical treatment. Area-wise better medical treatment facilities should be developed and provide the best medical care to the people, the CM said and asked the officials to continue the Aarogyasri services in the concerned medical colleges.
Osmania Hospitalās expansion
The officials informed the CM about the problems being faced in the expansion of Osmania Hospital. CM Revanth Reddy said that the Osmania hospital building is a heritage building and the issue is pending before the court and the government will decide how to proceed as per the directions of the court.
The chief minister instructed the officials to ensure the big pharma companies use their CSR funds to improve housekeeping and maintenance services in the government hospitals. The officials are directed to start this as a pilot project in one of the Osmania and Gandhi hospitals.
Officials asked to release pending Aarogyasri bills
The CM ordered the officials to release the pending Rs 270 crores of Aarogyasri bills for government hospitals and teaching hospitals affiliated with government medical colleges immediately.
The officials have been asked to clear the Aarogyasri bills of the government hospitals every month. The officials are directed to enter into an agreement with private Hospitals for the release of Aarogyasri bills every three months.
The salaries of junior doctors, Asha workers and staff nurses will also be paid regularly every month. The chief minister inquired about the performance of 108 and 102 services and directed the officials to ensure that better services are provided to the people.
