Don’t believe in vicious propaganda: Jagan to people after Amit Shah’s corruption jibe

Palnadu: A day after Union Home Minister Amit Shah levelled corruption allegations against the Andhra Pradesh government, chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said he believes in the mercy of god and the blessings of the masses.

Speaking during the distribution of Jagananna Vidya Kanukuna in Palnadu district, he said: "BJP may not support Jagan…but your Jagan does not believe in them. Do you know whom Jagan reposes faith? He believes in the mercy of god and your (AP people) blessings only," he said, addressing the people.

Jagan criticized certain sections of local media houses and Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan.

On Saturday, BJP president JP Nadda while addressing a public meeting at Sri Kalahasti in Tirupati had accused the YSRCP government of being most corrupt.

On Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah asked what happened to "all the lakhs of crores of rupees given to the state." He was addressing a public meeting in Visakhapatnam.

Terming his fight against the opposition as 'Kurukshetra', Jagan said his supporters are the reason for his boldness. Chief Minister said his strength is the welfare he has in every home.

He requested the people of Andhra Pradesh not to believe in the smearing campaign by some sections of the media. He asked them to check their households for the benefits they derived from the government.

Attacking TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu, Jagan asked him to show his progress report of his 14-year rule.

"Despite being a Chief Minister for 14 years, Babu is now talking about developing Rayalaseema, making declarations for people belonging to SC, ST & BC communities. Chandrababu Naidu is synonymous with backstabbing, conspiracy, cheating, and lies. He doesn’t have any achievements to his credit despite ruling the state for 14 years,” he said.
