Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has suggested that steps should be taken to avoid any trouble to the common people while the CM's convoy is on its way.
The 15 vehicles in the CM's convoy have been reduced to 9 vehicles and the police officials have been advised to take alternative measures without traffic jams or stopping the traffic on the route.
During a meeting held on Friday, the CM said that extensive tours should be done to find out the problems of the people themselves. In this context, the CM asked the police officers to suggest what steps should be taken to avoid any trouble to the people on the way he is traveling.
He said that it is not possible for him to sit at home and ignore people's problems
At the times when convoys of the officials especially Chief Minister's vehicles run in the city, heavy traffic jams is seem. Barricades are placed on the roads, and traffic police personnel are deployed to create a corridor. Vehicles are seen piled up as they waited for traffic to resume on these roads. Many citizens express their frustration on Twitter regarding the inconvenience caused when an official convoy is moving in the city.
