Festival of democracy: Women surpass men voters in Andhra Pradesh
As per the data available, there are 3,98,54,093 voters in the state. For the general election, there are 1,96,49,849 male, 2,01,32,271 female, and 3,858 third-gender voters.

Meena released the district-wise special summary revision of electoral rolls.
As per the data available, there are 3,98,54,093 voters in the state. For the general election, there are 1,96,49,849 male, 2,01,32,271 female, and 3,858 third-gender voters.
Compared to 2021, this year there has been a drop of 8,82,366 voters. The highest number of voters are in the Ananthapuram district, followed by Kurnool, and Nellore. Alluri Sitarama Raju district has the lowest number of voters.
Claims and objections on the draft rolls will be received till December 8. After the disposal of these claims and objections, the final electoral rolls will be published on January 5, 2023. Special campaign days will be organized for lodging claims and objections on November 19 and 20, and December 3 and 4.
"The booth level officer (BLO) of each Polling Station will be available along with Booth Level Agent appointed by the Political Parties on these special campaign days. They will go through the voter lists. They will receive the applications, guide the applicants and clear their doubts at the Polling Station", said CEO Mukesh Kumar.
During these special campaign days, existing electors can submit Form-6B by sharing their Aadhaar details.
Who can enroll?
All the electors/eligible citizens who will attain 18 years of age on January 1, 2023, and those who missed enrolling themselves on earlier occasions, can submit their applications for enrolment, objections, and correction from November 9 to December 8.
While filing their applications, all the citizens/electors shall provide the information accurately in all the columns of the relevant Form-6, 7 & 8 as the case may be.

10,52,326 entries deleted:
This year identification and deletion of photo similar entries/demographically similar entries (PSEs / DSEs were undertaken). These multiple entries relate to the same elector. Election Commission of India has generated PSEs/DSEs in Andhra Pradesh and made them available to all the EROs for verification. Around 10,52,326 entries were deleted after verification of PSEs / DSEs.
"No unique elector was deleted under PSE / DSE category. Only multiple/ duplicate entries relating to such electors were deleted", said the CEO.
