Hyderabad: As the much-awaited Formula E 2023 Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix came to an end on Saturday, social media was abuzz with posts by celebrities, actors, and youth who witnessed the country’s first Formula E race in Hyderabad. Celebrities did not just watch the race but had a good time, especially industrialist Anand Mahindra who learned the dance steps of the famous song “Natu Natu” from actor Ram Charan.

Team Mahindra Racing’s race ended fruitfully after its drivers Olive Rowland and Lucas Di Grassi were able to score points. “I’m so pleased that we did not let down the home crowd, and they saw their home team finish the points table. I hope to hear the Indian anthem play with us right on top,” he tweeted. Adding a bonus to the race, Anand Mahindra learned “Natu Natu” steps from actor Ram Charan. He tweeted his lessons on Twitter.

‘RRR’ star Ram Charan took a round of the track in a sports car. “What a proud moment to our country, our state, and our Hyderabad city,” he tweeted.

It was a great day for Sachin Tendulkar fans who were excited by his presence at the Formula E race. “A sight to behold for a motorsport enthusiast like me. Had a wonderful time cheering for @MahindraRacing at the #HyderabadEPrix. Glad to see motorsport racing returning to India 🇮🇳 after a decade,” he tweeted.

Sachin went on a ride on Pininfarina Battista EV car, and said it had the perfect answer for “Are EVs the future?”. It was so fast, we defied time and landed in the future!

Director SS Rajamouli’s son Kartikeya shared his childhood memory while watching the race and recalled how he used to go to school via Hussain Sagar lake and stop to drink goli soda under a tree. Standing behind the same tree and watching the race is an incredibly surreal feeling, he said.

Others who were seen at the race include Nagarjuna, Akhil, Yash, Naga Chaitanya, Arjun Bhajwa, Dulquer, and Siddhu Jonnalagadda. Also, IT Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana share a photo at the Formula E.
