Har Ghar Tiranga 2.0: This I-Day, buy Tricolour from nearest post office

New Delhi: The Har Ghar Tiranga 2.0 campaign is a nationwide initiative of the Government of India to instil patriotism and unity among citizens by encouraging them to proudly hoist the National Flag in their homes during the upcoming Independence Day celebrations.

The campaign will be organised between August 13-15 and India Post will play a key role in ensuring the availability of the National Flag across the country.

Under the campaign, India Post will sell National Flags through its 1.6 lakh post offices across the country. Flags measuring 20 x 30 inches will be available at an affordable price of Rs 25 per flag.

Citizens can purchase the National Flag online through the e-PostOffice portal. Customers can purchase up to five flags each online, and the delivery of the booked flags will be arranged at the desired address/doorstep without any extra charges, on or before August 13.

In addition to selling the National Flag, India Post will also organise a number of awareness activities to create widespread awareness about the significance of the campaign. These activities will include:

- Educating the general public about the latest flag code

- Organising extensive outreach campaigns in villages, schools, colleges, institutions, and other public spaces

- Encouraging citizens to upload selfies with the National Flag on social media
