NewsMeter analysed the assets each MLA candidate has declared in their affidavits, and at least six of them have total assets worth more than Rs 100 crores.

Dharmapuri Arvind
Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind who is contesting from Korutla Assembly constituency against Dr Sanjay Kalvakuntla, a fresh face from the BRS, is one of the richest MLAs from BJP. His total assets sum up to Rs 106 crores.
Properties of Dharmapuri along with spouse and other details
1. Movable properties: Rs 57 crores (cash, shares, jewellery)
2. Immovable properties: Rs 49.81 crores (commercial property, buildings)
3. Liabilities: Rs 28 crores
4. Education: MA in Political Science from Janardan Rai Nagar, Rajasthan Vidyapeeth
He has 14 criminal cases registered against him.
Pailla Shekar Reddy
Pailla Shekar Reddy contesting from the Bhongir Assembly seat is one of the richest MLAs of the ruling BRS party. His total assets sum up to Rs 227 crores (on paper).
Pailla Shekar Reddy, Medak MP Prabhakar Reddy, who was stabbed recently while campaigning in Dubbak, and Nagarkurnool MLA Marri Janardhan Reddy are business partners. They have real estate ventures in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The I-T department had conducted raids on their properties recently.

1. Movable properties: Rs 125.06 crores (cash, deposits, investments, shares in SLS Pvt Ltd, Nulland Technology, Hilland Tech)
2. Immovable properties: Rs 102.42 crores (agricultural land, commercial buildings)
3. Liabilities: Rs 90 crores
4. Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering from SN Murthy Polytechnic College
There are no criminal cases registered against him. Shekar Reddy is contesting against Congress’s Kumbam Anil Kumar and BJP’s G Narayan Reddy.
Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy
Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy, the Congress candidate contesting from Munugode constituency in Nalgonda district is one of the richest MLAs.
His assets sum up to over Rs 458 crores. Raj Gopal Reddy and his spouse's assets have gone up by more than 45 per cent since 2018 when they had declared combined assets worth Rs 314 crores.

Marri Janardhan Reddy
Marri Janardhan Reddy, BRS MLA of Nagarkurnool constituency has total assets worth Rs 112 crores.

1. Movable properties: Rs 85 crores (savings, insurance, shares, jewellery)
2. Immovable properties: Rs 25.97 crores (non-agricultural land, commercial buildings, residential buildings)
3. Liabilities: Rs 26.52 crores
4. Education: SSC at ZPHS (boys), Badepally, Mahabubnagar district
He has one criminal case pending against him.
Kotha Prabhakar Reddy
Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, a BRS MLA candidate from Dubbak, has assets worth Rs 197 crores. Prabhakar Reddy was recently stabbed with a knife allegedly by a person named G Raju in Surampalli village of Doulthabad mandal when he was campaigning. In the attack, Prabhakar Reddy, who is an MP from Medak Lok Sabha constituency, suffered injuries in his stomach.

2. Immovable properties: 180.63 crores (agricultural and non-agricultural land, commercial building, residential building)

G Vivekanand
Telangana Congress candidate from Chennur, Gaddam Vivekanand also called Vivek Venkataswamy is one of the richest MLA candidates with assets worth Rs 606.66 crores. He has recently quit the BJP.
Properties of Vivek along with spouse and other details
1. Movable properties: Rs 378 crores (cash, bank deposits, shares in Sushee Infra and Sushee Realty)
2. Immovable properties: Rs 225.5 crores (agricultural and non-agricultural land, commercial buildings, Aurobindo Pharma Limited, Bathina Technologies India, IPL’s Chennai Super Kings, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Fenoplast, Visaka Industries).
3. Liabilities: Rs 40 crores
4. Education: MBBS from Osmania Medical College
He has five criminal cases pending against him. He borrowed Rs 1 crore from Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Rs 10 lakhs from Ramalinga Reddy and Rs 1.5 crores from Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy.
