Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has achieved a major revenue milestone by generating more than Rs 3,862 crore through the latest phase of land auctions at Neopolis, Kokapet.
The robust response from investors has pushed HMDA’s overall auction revenue across four phases to an impressive 87 per cent growth compared to last year.
Golden mile plot fetches record rate
A prime 1.98-acre Golden Mile plot was the highlight of Friday’s e-auction. COEUS Education Management Private Limited secured the parcel at a striking price of Rs 77.75 crore per acre, reflecting the premium valuation of the Neopolis development corridor.
Four auction phases deliver historic revenue surge
With the completion of four auction phases so far, HMDA’s earnings from Neopolis have seen an 87 per cent jump over last year’s figures, marking one of the highest growth rates in urban land auctions in Telangana.
Premium commercial hub draws massive bidding
Neopolis once again proved its stature as Hyderabad’s emerging premium commercial district, attracting strong participation from leading business and institutional investors. The high demand led to intense bidding, underscoring growing confidence in the city’s real estate and infrastructure growth story.
Boost to infrastructure and urban development
Officials said the substantially higher revenue generated from the Neopolis auctions will be channelled into major infrastructure projects, road development, and urban civic amenities across the Hyderabad Metropolitan Region.
