The reason for such extreme temperatures during the day and night is because February is one of the driest months, especially in terms of humidity. Humidity in Telangana during this month is 20-40% on average.
In February, the sun moves closer to the equator which means that the duration of the days keeps increasing. The sun moving closer to the equator also lead to hot days while the nights are cold as the transition to summer is to begin soon. As humidity starts to increase, the difference between the day and night temperatures starts to decrease. But since humidity is low in Hyderabad during February, days are hot and nights are cold.
After a short break of 2days, the heat is back yet again in Telangana with Mutharam in Peddapalli recorded 38.7°C. Hyderabad city too recorded temp in range of 34-35°C. Rising trend ahead in coming days too 🥵
