Humanity first: Sundeep Kishan stars join hands to help kids orphaned by COVID-19

Hyderabad: Tollywood stars have joined hands to help children who lost their parents due to COVID-19. Actor Sundeep Kishan took to Twitter to announce to make tough times better for children orphaned by COVID 19. He shared an email address asking fans and fellow Twitterati to share details of the kids.

"If you know of any children who unfortunately lost their families due to COVID during these challenging timesā€¦ Please pass on their information to the email ID mentioned belowā€¦ my team and I will do our best within our capacity to take care of as many children's food and education for the next couple of yearsā€¦These are testing times and it is very important to stand by each other as Human Beings firstā€¦Stay home, stay safe and please try to do whatever you can to help the people around you. Please send the details to sundeepkishancovidhelp@gmail.com (sic)," he said.

To his tweet, music composer Thaman SS replied that he too will share the responsibility. "I am also with. Will take the responsibility of their education dear brother let me know will be ur partner in this. Will add my beat to ur heart (sic)," he tweeted.

Actor Shruti Haasan took to Instagram to share that there is a way to help kids who have lost their parents due to COVID.

"Hello all!! There's been a lot of posts and shares about children who have lost their parents due to Covid - there is a way to help them! And ensure they are SAFE and PROTECTED! Please call the child helpline 1098 and or reach out + tag @waic_campaign in anything to do with kids up for adoption (there is a proper legal process) and about the safe Surender of kids to the right arms šŸ–¤ in a time of chaos and confusion, we must make the effort to protect these little angels šŸ’œ also please tag @ministrywcd @ncpcr_ @cara_mwcd @dcpcr_delhi (sic)," she said.
