Hyderabad: Archdiocese of Hyderabad has directed all its educational institutions to give 50 percent fee concession to catholic students for the coming academic year.
In a letter addressed to all educational institutions, the Archbishop of Hyderabad Dr. Poola Anthony said in the light of the raging pandemic, grim economic situation and rising Inflation, many small business owners and salaried employees are struggling to make their ends meet.
In this context, Dr. Poola Anthony requested all the heads of institutions to adhere to the guidelines regarding Catholic students admissions and fee concession besides admissions to catholic students. Dr. Anthony said all the Catholic students should be given admissions in institutions without fail as it is the primary objective and concern.
"If there's a recommendation letter from the Parish Priest regarding fee concession kindly honor the same. In this regard, kindly follow TCBC Fee Concession Guidelines. Institutions that can afford, please grant 50% concession to the poor and deserving Catholics. Kindly allow fee payment in Installments. If the family is really poor, consider allowing first term fee also in Installments. Looking forward to your cooperation," Dr. Anthony said.
