Hyderabad: Police have arrested an inebriated youth for allegedly abusing Banjara Hills Traffic cops at Banjara Hills. The youngster reportedly abused cops on duty and refused to give the breathalyzer test to check for drunk driving.
A video of the incident has now gone viral. The Internet exploded with a meme fest after the incident.

The youngster, who was traveling with his female friend, identified himself as Gourav. In the video, he is seen pushing aside the breath analyzer and abusing and assaulting cops. He threatened them of approaching the High Court and even booking a case under section 123 ( unclear if he was referring to CrPC). The video has literally gone viral and has cracked up the internet.
" Gourav is working for a firm called Aha in Hyderabad. On February 27 night, he was driving a car in an inebriated condition. When he was stopped for a drunken drive check at Banjara Hills Road no 2, he refused to give the breathalyzer test. He abused and assaulted the cops. The boy claimed that he is a lawyer. However, during verification, he was found that his uncle practices law,ā Banjara Hills Police told NewsMeter.
A case has been registered against him for assaulting government officials on duty and obstructing cops from carrying out their official work.
When the test was finally conducted, his Blood Alcohol Content turned out to be 94 mg/100 ml, which attracts stringent action. His car was confiscated and the youth was sent to Chanchalguda jail, police said.
