At around 12.30 AM when he was on his way to his residence, he fell off the bike near Ghode-ki-Kabar. An eclectic wire had snapped due to rain and was lying unattended on the road. He accidentally fell on the line and was electrocuted. A case under section 174 Cr.PC has been registered.
Most parts of Hyderabad received unexpected rainfall on Thursday night. The weather observatory body has forecasted that Telangana shall witness light to moderate rainfall or thunderstorm at isolated places. However, the weather to turn dry from February 20 onwards.
"Rain and thunderstorm activities are predicted for central parts of the country, primarily Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Telangana reason being cyclonic circulation over Vidharbha. There is a low-level trough extending from Kerala to Vidharbha. Humid winds from the Bay of Bengal are feeding winds in Telangana and mid-level winds (around 3 km from the ground) are receiving moisture from the Arabian Sea; this is resulting in the formation of clouds and subsequently rainfall. Right from Bihar to Tamil Nadu to Karnataka, we expect rains in the next 24 hours" said Mahesh Palawat of Skymet, an independent weather observatory body.
Meanwhile, MET said one or two spells of rain or thunderstorms will occur in Hyderabad in the coming week. The maximum and minimum temperature would be around 32 and 18 degrees respectively.
