Hyderabad: Woman died after falling from Hitech city flyover, her friend suffered injuries
The duo travelling on a two-wheeler from JNTU towards IKEA when the rider reportedly at high speed, lost control and hit the flyover protection wall.

Hyderabad: A 22-year-old woman died, while her friend who was riding the vehicle was severely injured after the two-wheeler they were travelling hit the flyover railing near Hitech city on Thursday.
The deceased, Sweeti Pandey (22), a native of Kolkata, who was sitting behind, fell from the flyover onto the road below and suffered a head injury. Rider of the two-wheeler, Ryan Luke suffered severe injuries.
According to Madhapur Police, on Thursday, the duo travelling on a two-wheeler from JNTU towards IKEA. The rider reportedly at high speed, lost control and hit the flyover protection wall.
While the rider Ryan Luke fell down causing blood injuries, the pilion rider fell from the flyover onto the road below, sustaining a severe head injury. Both were rushed to a Medicaid hospital. The woman died during the procedure at the hospital.
Madhapur police have registered a case under 337, 304(A) IPC and are investigating the matter.
The body has been shifted to Osmania General Hospital Mortuary for postmortem.
