IAS Reshuffle: Sircilla Collector transferred after September 17th high drama

Hyderabad: Days after Sircilla Collector Siricilla Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha reportedly missed few politicians in his district he was transferred by the Telangana Government.

On the 17th of September, when Sircilla Collector Sandeep Jha IAS came late to a government event.

Vemulawada MLA and government whip Adi Srinivas reportedly complained to the Chief Minister's Office and Chief Secretary that the Collector did not follow protocol, skipped his speech, failed to welcome the guest, and came late to the stage today.

He alleged that a similar lapse happened on August 15 as well. This apart, the High Court has issued a warrant against Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha.

The case relates to Velpula Ellayya, a displaced person from Cheerlavanch village who lost his house due to the Mid Manair project.

As officials failed to pay him compensation, he approached the High Court. In June, the court directed that compensation be paid to Ellayya. However, not only was the compensation not paid, the District Collector also failed to appear before the court.

Today, when he was again required to be present, the Collector remained absent and did not send any reply.

Following this, the judge issued a warrant, according to petitioner’s lawyer, Bommena Arjun Rao. After these two developments against Jha, he was transferred and posted as special Chief Secretary to the GOIT.

Haritha, IAS(2013), transferred M,Raghunandan Rao, IAS(2002) is also placed in FAC of the post of Commissioner, Transport vice K.Surendra Mohan, IAS(2006), transferred.

3. On transfer, K.Surendra Mohan, IAS (2006) is posted as Secretary to Government, Agriculture & Co-operation Department vice M Raghunandan Rao, IAS(2002), transferred. K.Surendra Mohan, IAS (2006) shall continue to hold the FAC posts of Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies and Director, Marketing.

4. M.Haritha, IAS (2013), Special Secretary to Government, Education Department is transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Rajanna Sircilla vice Sandeep Kumar lha, IAS(2014), transferred.

5. On transfer. K. Haritha, IAS(2013) is posted as Special Secretary to Government, Finance Department.
