Hyderabad: The Indian School of Business (ISB) celebrated its 20th anniversary on Thursday. The day was marked by hoisting of the ISB flag, a tree plantation drive by long-serving employees of ISB, and other cultural activities.

The School opened in 2001 and the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had dedicated ISB to the nation.

Professor Madan Pillutla, dean of ISB, said it was gratifying to witness the contribution made by ISB across various spheres. "This has been made possible due to the multi-pronged approach adopted by ISB and the support of a very large number of our well-wishers. Today, we rededicate ourselves in realizing the vision of becoming an internationally top-ranked, research-driven, independent management institution that grooms future leaders for India and the world," Prof. Pillutla said.
