Hyderabad: Marking International Women's Day 2022 and the 20th anniversary of FLO, a 100% women-owned FLO industrial park promoted by FICC Ladies Organisation (FLO) to empower women entrepreneurs was inaugurated on Tuesday in Medical Devices Park in Sultanpur in Sangareddy. Inaugurating the industrial park, Telangana Minister for Industries KT Rama Rao said, "I would urge our young Hyderabad women to start thinking big on emerging technologies, on world-class products coming from Hyderabad. The world is looking at us with renewed interests, think truly global. Government of Telangana is more than happy to facilitate." "10% plots are reserved for women in new industrial parks," the minister added.

Elaborating on how the new industrial park is going to boost employment opportunities for women, Jyotsna Angara, governing body member of FICCI Flo said, "The 50-acres park will have 25 manufacturing units and these 25 industries will have at least 1,200 women entrepreneurs. Women are doing so many innovations in industries. This is definitely going to boost the employment opportunities for women entrepreneurs at various levels."
