Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has announced that hall tickets for the Intermediate Public Examinations-2026 will be shared directly with parents through WhatsApp.
The move was aimed at improving transparency and parental involvement, TGBIE officials said
WhatsApp link for hall ticket preview
As part of the new initiative, parents will receive a WhatsApp message containing a download link to preview their child’s hall ticket.
This facility will be available for both Intermediate First Year and Second Year students, allowing verification of details well in advance of the examinations.
Login details for students
First year students can access the hall ticket preview by entering their SSC Roll Number and Date of Birth.
Second Year students must use their First Year Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth to download the preview.
Academic details included for second year
For second year students, the preview hall ticket will also display first year marks for passed subjects, details of failed subjects (if any), and the complete examination schedule. This is intended to help parents clearly understand the academic status of their ward.
Parents asked to verify details
The Board has advised parents to thoroughly check all particulars printed on the preview hall ticket, including subjects, medium, group, photograph, signature and personal details.
In case of discrepancies, they should immediately approach the concerned college principal or the District Intermediate Education Officer (DIEO)/Nodal Officer for corrections.

Practical Examinations: February 2 to February 21
English Practical:
First Year – January 21
Second Year – January 22

Aim of the Initiative
Noting that most parents now use smartphones, TGBIE said the WhatsApp-based system is designed to ensure timely access to hall tickets, early identification of errors and better coordination among students, parents, colleges and district authorities.
The Board expressed confidence that the initiative will contribute to the smooth and efficient conduct of the Intermediate Public Examinations-2026.
