Investments continue as Telangana Rising Global Summit secures over Rs 1.11 lakh crore on day 2

Investments continue as Telangana Rising Global Summit secures over Rs 1.11 lakh crore on day 2

Hyderabad: On the second day of Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, the state saw investments worth Rs 1,11,395 crores.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, along with his team, signed the memoranda of understanding (MoU) with companies that participated in the summit and committed to development in various high-growth sectors.

Here is the list of the companies and their investments:

1. Godrej Industries Group

- An MoU was signed on the proposal to expand dairy business (5 lakh litre per day capacity) in Telangana with investment of Rs 150 crore, requiring 40 acres and creating 300 direct jobs over two years.

2. Fertis India Pvt. Ltd.

- An MoU signed on the proposal to develop a state-of-the-art food and agriculture R&D centre and a Greenfield Rare Sugars Manufacturing Facility. The facility will produce allulose, glycine-based ingredients, slow-release carbohydrates and functional nutrients supporting global clean-label, non-GMO, health-focused food markets in Telangana.

- The total investment will be Rs 2,000 crore (Rs 500 crore in Phase 1 and Rs 1,500 crore in Phase 2), requiring 100 acres and creating 800+ direct jobs over two years.

- The proposal also includes a project for speciality crop nutrition, bio-stimulants and biologicals for sustainable agriculture in Telangana for Rs 200 crore.

3. KJS India

- An MoU was signed on the proposal to expand Telangana operations through large-scale food and beverage manufacturing (unit-2) in Telangana with an investment of Rs 650 crore in 44 acres and creating 1,551 direct jobs over two years.

- Third-party contract manufacturer for global MNCs such as Nestlé, Unilever, Dr Reddy’s and Mayora.

4. Vintage Coffee and Beverages Limited

- An MoU was signed on the proposal to expand Telangana operations through the establishment export-oriented Premium Freeze-Dried Coffee (FDC) plant with an investment of Rs 1,100 crore in 15 acres, creating 1,000 direct jobs over two years.

5. Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RPCL)

- A multi-product FMCG manufacturing facility has been proposed for beverages, snacks and confectionery and other consumer products in Telangana with an investment of Rs 1,500 crores. The project is expected to create 1,000 direct employment jobs on 100 acres.

6. Kaynes Technology India Limited

- Electronics contract manufacturing services unit for investing over Rs 1,000 crore as part of the current expansion.

7. JCK Infra Projects Limited

- A data centre has been proposed with facilities and ancillary infrastructure services with an investment of Rs 9,000 crore, generating over 2,000 jobs.

8. RCT Energy India Pvt Ltd

- The company has proposed Rs 2,500 crore in investments in Telangana in three phases, generating 1,600+ direct jobs.

9. Aqylon Nexus Limited

- The company will invest in a clean energy-based 50 MW data centre

- Establish a Net-Zero data centre in Telangana

- AI-powered IOT solutions for retail and MSE industry-customised solution provider

- Make Telangana a hub for a clean energy data centre

9. AGP Group

- The company has signed an MoU to develop a 1 GW hyperscale DC campus on 125 acres

- Develop BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) in the same area to support the DC campus

- The total investment is expected to be Rs 6,750 crores

10. Infrakey DC Parks

- The proposal has been signed for the development of a large-scale Al-ready 1GW Data Park.

- It would require 150 acres of data centre-ready land.

- An investment of Rs 70,000 crores for the entire infrastructure.

- Future-ready cooling infrastructure will also be developed.

11. Purview Group

- The company proposes a major strategic investment in Telangana to establish a Global Capability Centre (GCC) and an AI-driven Hyperscale Data Centre Campus.

- The GCC project launch will provide an estimated 3,000 employment opportunities.

- Land allocation of 8-10 acres will be required to establish a 50 MW DC in Telangana

12. Hetero Group

- The company proposes to establish large-scale pharmaceutical formulation facilities in Telangana, enhancing the state’s manufacturing capabilities in high-quality formulations for domestic and global markets.

- The proposed investment will be Rs 1,800 crores, and the company is requesting 100 acres, with the creation of more than 9,000 direct and indirect jobs over the next two years within the state.

13. Bharat Biotech

- The company proposes to establish a state-of-the-art Contract Research, Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CRDMO) facility in Telangana

- The proposed investment will be Rs 1,000 crores with the creation of more than 200 direct jobs and indirect jobs over the next 3 to 4 years

14. Aurobindo Pharma

- The company proposes to expand and develop its capabilities in complex generics, injectables, oral solid formulations, biosimilars and biologics in Telangana.

- The proposed investment will be Rs 2,000 crores, with the creation of more than 3,000 direct and indirect jobs over the next 2-3 years

15. Granules India

- The company now proposes to establish advanced facilities for the manufacturing of peptides, along with a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) for oncology products in Telangana.

- The proposed investment will be Rs 1,200 crores and is requesting 100 acres within Green Pharma City. The project is expected to generate more than 2,500-3,000 direct jobs over the next 3-4 years.

16. Biological E Limited

- The company proposes to establish a large-scale vaccine research and development, and a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) facility in Telangana as part of its next phase of expansion.

- The proposed investment will be Rs 3,500 crores in addition to its earlier investment of Rs 500 crore, taking the total cumulative investment to Rs 4,000 crore. It will create over 3,000 direct jobs, in the next five years within the state. The company is requesting 150 acres in Green Pharma City for the development of the projects.

Investments in tourism

During the summit, various companies in the hospitality and related sectors came forward to sign MoUs with the government.

The total amount of investment reached Rs 7,045 crore

Direct employment: 10,000

Indirect Employment: 30,000

Here is a look at those companies and their investments in detail:

1. Foodlink F&B Holdings (India) Pvt Ltd

- The investment will be around Rs 3,000 crore for an integrated global convention, trade and exhibition centre at Bharat Future City (PPP Mode).

2. KEI Group & Associates (Kamineni Group)

- The investment will be Rs 200 crore with the establishment of a Glasshouse-Greenhouse Convention Centre at Kismatpur Village, Gandipet.

3. Ridhira Group

- The company has proposed to invest Rs 120 crore for a Novotel-branded hospitality project at Yacharam, Bharat Future City.

4. Polin Group (Turkey) & Multiverse Hotels Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad

- The company will invest Rs 300 crore for a world-class Aqua Marine Park & Aqua Tunnel in Hyderabad.

5. Atmosphere Core Hotels (Maldives)

- The company has proposed to invest Rs 800 crore for an elite International Wellness Retreat in Hyderabad.

6. Fluidra India Pvt Ltd (Spain)

- The investment will be Rs 300 crore for an artificial beach, lagoon and resort project in Hyderabad.

7. Sri Havisha Hospitality and Infrastructure Ltd

- The proposed project will see an investment of Rs 300 crore for a Smart Mobility Wellness Resort and Convention Centre in Hyderabad.

8. Dreamvalley Golf and Resorts

- The investment will be Rs 1,000 crore for a world-class golf destination at Bharat Future City, Hyderabad.

9. Sarus Infrastructure Pvt Ltd

- The company has signed an MoU to invest Rs 1,000 crore for an International Cultural Centre at Bharat Future City, Hyderabad.

10. Salam Namaste Dosa Hut Pte Ltd (Australia) and Vizag Recreation Pvt Ltd

- The proposed investment will be Rs 25 crore for caravan parks across Telangana to promote adventure and eco-tourism.

11. Indian Institute of Film and Animation Partnership for IIFA Utsavam and Athens Events

The project will cost around Rs 550–600 crore for:

- A Tony Blair Institute (London) Strategic Advisory Tourism Sector Acceleration and Global Positioning Support

- ASEAN Ambassadors/Tourism Ministries Cultural Collaboration Promotion of Telangana Buddhist Circuits across ASEAN countries
