Hyderabad: IPS officer Amber Kishore Jha will head the Warangal Commissionerate and Cyberabad Deputy Commissioner of Police Crimes- Kalmeshwar has been appointed as Nizamabad Commissioner.
Bharati Hollikeri, Spl. Secretary & Commissioner, WCD & SC Department is transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Rangareddy.
The postings are crucial as these officials will be under watch by the ECI all through the elections.
List of 10 Superintendent of Police
1. Chennuri Rupesh, IPS (RR:2017) , Deputy Commissioner of Police, South East / West Zone, Hyderabad is transferred as Superintendent of Police
2. Ch.Sindhu Sharma, IPS (RR:2014), Commandant, 4th Battalion, TSSP, Mamnoor is transferred as Superintendent of Police, Kamareddy.
3. Sunpreet Singh, IPS (RR:2011), Assistant Inspector General of Police (L&O) Telangana, is transferred as Superintendent of Police, Jagityal.
4. Harshvardhan, IPS (RR:2018), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic-I, Cyberabad, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Mahabubnagar.
5. Gaikwad Vaibhav Raghunath, IPS (RR:2018), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Peddapally, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Nagarkurnool.

The officials have been asked to report to the new posting by 04.00 PM on 13 October.

To recall, the Election Commission of India has transferred 13 top cops, three IAS officers and four collectors in Telangana for 'laxity of work' ahead of the state elections.
The ECI had asked the state government not to assign them any election related works until the completion of state election 2023 and subsequently send a list of officials.
The Chief Secretary following ECI's officer sent a list of officials to be posted in the following positions on 12th October.
