Telangana: Telangana government has ordered a major reshuffle in the police department, a day after B Shivadhar Reddy assumed charge as the new Director General of Police of the state.
C V Anand, who was one of the frontrunners to become the Director General of Police, has been transferred and appointed as the Special Chief Secretary- Home.
Sajjanar, currently serving as Managing Director, TSRTC, has been appointed as the new Hyderabad Police Commissioner.
Shikha Goel is the new DG Vigilance, while her spouse Vijay Kumar has been appointed as the new DG Intelligence.
Swati Lakra (IPS 995), Additional Director General of Police, Organization & Home Guards, Telangana, Hyderabad, is placed in full additional charge of the post of Director General, Special Protection Force, Telangana, Hyderabad.
Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat (PS 1995), Additional Director General of Police (L&O), Telangana, Hyderabad, is placed in full additional charge of the post of Additional Director General of Police (Personnel), Telangana, Hyderabad, vice Dr. Anil Kumar (IPS 1996).
Charu Sinha (IPS 1996), Additional Director General of Police, CID, Telangana, is placed in full additional charge of the post of Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Telangana, Hyderabad, vice Vijay Kumar (IPS 1997).
On transfer, Dr. Anil Kumar (IPS 1996) is posted as Additional Director General of Police (Operations), Greyhounds & Octopus, Telangana Hyderabad, vice M. Stephen Raveendra, IPS (1999).
On transfer, Vijay Kumar (IPS 1997) is posted as Additional Director General of Police, Intelligence, Hyderabad.
