Telangana: Varahi, Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan’s election campaign vehicle, will soon hit the roads. On Tuesday, Pawan Kalyan performed ‘Vahana Pooja’ for Varahi at Kondagattu Sri Anjaneyaswamy in Jagtial. Ahead of the elections, Pawan Kalyan also made a key announcement about his political journey in Telangana.

Speaking to the media, Pawan Kalyan said, “Jana Sena will contest in 7–14 constituencies in Telangana. Politics in Telangana will be only on a limited scale as I hope to have at least 10 Jana Sena MLAs in the Telangana Assembly.”

He added, “There is a fighting spirit in the soil of Telangana. This district gave me rebirth and I hope for new leadership.”

Pawan Kalyan openly welcomed an alliance with parties with a good ideology. The Jana Sena party is looking for youth with leadership qualities he said and added that his party members will visit every constituency in Telangana.

Speaking on the political scenario in Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan said, “While Telangana state has emotion in their politics, Andhra Pradesh politics is all about caste. It is very difficult to do politics in AP.”

Alliance with BJP continues

Pawan Kalyan said the party’s alliance with BJP will continue and that Jana Sena is ready to go alone in the elections.

He questioned why the YSRCP government is bringing up GO no. 1 and suppressing the Opposition when they are confident enough to win 175/175 seats.
