Jyoti Buddha Prakash takes charge of transport; Gowtham Potru is new Rangareddy collector

The Congress government on Sunday announced more changes in the bureaucratic setup of the state.

Hyderabad: Continuing the course of transfers and appointments of AIS officers (IPS and IAS) in the state after the change in the Telangana government, the Congress government on Sunday announced more changes in the bureaucratic setup of the state.

Here is the list:

Dr Jyoti Buddha Prakash, IAS, Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Transport.

E Sridhar, IAS, Special Secretary to Government in the Tribal Welfare Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise replacing Dr Jyoti Buddha Prakash, IAS, who has been transferred.

The MoS is also placed in Full Additional Charge (FAC) of the post of Vice Chairman and Managing Director and Executive Director, TSITC after EV Narsimha Reddy, IAS was transferred. Narsimha Reddy has been posted as the Director of Tribal Welfare duly relieving Dr Christina Z Chongthu, IAS, from the post.

Bharati Hollikeri, IAS, Collector and District Magistrate of Rangareddy has been transferred and directed to report to the General Administration Department. Gowtham Potru, IAS, Collector and District Magistrate of Medchal-Malkajgiri has been transferred and given FAC of Bharati Hollikeriā€™s post as Collector and District Magistrate of Rangareddy.

Shruti Ojha, IAS, Additional Commissioner of GHMC has been transferred and posted as Director, Intermediate Education and Secretary of the Board of Intermediate Education duly relieving Navin Mittal, IAS from FAC of the said post.

Devendra Singh Chauhan, IPS, who has been waiting for the posting is given charge as the Commissioner, Civil Supplies and EO, Principal Secretary to Government, CAF and CS, duly relieving Anil Kumar, IAS (Retd) from FAC of the said post.
