The chief minister does not own any cars/vehicles, in contrary to the massive line up of convoy comprising of swanky cars he travels in.
CM KCR filed his nomination from two Assembly seats, Gajwel and Kamareddy, respectively, for the ensuing Telangana State Assembly elections, scheduled for November 30. Thousands of people joined his nomination rally at both constituencies on the morning of November 9. On the same day, his son and BRS working president KT Rama Rao and health minister T Harish Rao filed their nominations from Sircilla and Siddipet. The date 9th November, seems to be auspicious as many politicians filed their nominations. KCR is contesting against friend turned foe BJP Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender In Gajwel and TPCC President A Revanth Reddy in KamaReddy.

NewsMeter, analysed the 2023 election affidavit of the chief minister. As per the documents, KCR does not own a single agricultural land in Telangana. KCR (69) and his wife Shobha Rao, own wealth worth Rs 58.7 crores including assets from the Hindu Undivided Family (HUF). The income shown in the I-T returns for the financial year 2022-23 is Rs 1.6 crores.
As per the records, the movable properties of KCR and spouse (cash, deposits, investments in T News channel, gold and diamonds) are worth Rs 25.61 crores and Rs 9.81 crores of HUF. This sums up to Rs 35.42 crores. With regards to immovable properties (agricultural and commercial properties), CM KCR owns a residential house in Banjara Hills and a farmhouse in Karimnagar and lands worth Rs 8.5 crores and Rs 15 crores of HUF. The worth of his assets is Rs 23.5 crores. Shobha does not own any property in her name and KCR does not own any agricultural lands, says the affidavit.
Properties apart, the liabilities of KCR include Rs 17.27 crores he owes as intra-family loans, Rajeshwara Hatcheries and G Vivekananda. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Government Degree College in Siddipet.
In the affidavit filed before the district election officer, the CM has identified himself as an agriculturalist while his wife Shobha Rao is a housewife.
There are nine cases pending against KCR registered in the years 2009 and 2011, all registered during the separate Telangana State agitation.

The properties of Thaneeru Harish Rao and wife Srineetha (on paper) include cash, LIC premium, investments in Jiva Tech Surgical, Arvais Nature Products, Preston Developers, ( .32 NP, Bore Pistol) āā worth Rs 13. 90 Cr. While immovable properties (lands, residential and commercial properties) worth - Rs 10.16 Cr.
The liabilities of the Thaneeru couple sums up to - Rs 11.49 Cr. Minister Harish Rao has 2 cases registered during Telangana agitation pending against him. And holds a degree in Bachelor in Arts from Kakatiya University.
