KCR gives go-ahead for inaugurating BR Ambedkar on April 14th, Secretariat on 30th
The secretariat will be inaugurated as per the auspicious time decided by the Vedic scholars
By Newsmeter Network Published on 5 April 2023 4:30 AM GMTHyderabad: Ending suspense, Telangana government has decided to inaugurate Dr. BR Ambedkar Secretariat on April 14th. The decision was taken in a review meeting chaired by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Roads and Buildings Minister Prashanth Reddy will conduct the inaugural programs after the traditional rituals. Later the secretariat will be inaugurated on April 30th as per the auspicious time decided by the Vedic scholars. The time will be announced soon.

Soon after the inauguration, KCR will first sit in his chamber. The ministers, secretaries, CMO staff, and other staff of the secretariat will follow and take their seats in their respective chambers.
Ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs, state-level corporation Chairmen, HODs of all departments, Collectors of all districts, SPs, Zilla Parishad chairmen, DCCB, DCMMs chairmen, Zilla library chairmen, Zilla Rythubandhu Samiti presidents, Municipal Mayors, and others will participate in the program.
Around 2500 people are expected to attend the function. Meals too will be served to the participants. Elaborate security measures will be made to ensure incident-free function.
Secretariat has main gates in four directions. The North and West gate will be opened only when required. Through the North East gate will be an entry for secretariat staff, secretaries, and officials. There is parking on the same side. The South East gate is for visitors only. The visiting time of the Secretariat is from 3 pm to 5 pm.
The East Gate (Main Gate) is being used only for Chief Minister, CS, DGP, Ministers, MLAs, MLCs, MPs, Chairman and important invitees, and foreign guests.
Electrical vehicles for the physically challenged and elderly will be provided. Private vehicles will not be allowed in the Secretariat. The DGP Anjani Kumar will oversee the security measures of the Secretariat.
Meanwhile, KCR instructed Chief Secretary to finalize modalities for Gruha Lakshmi Scheme ( Rs 3 lakh assistance to build houses in own plots) Podu land distribution pattas will also be launched. KCR instructed to start the sheep distribution program immediately.
KCR also said the government will continue Dalit Bandhu Scheme.
