āCongress jeopardising water rights to Telanganaā
āThe responsibility of BRS activists and Telangana movement fighters is to ensure that the rights are not disturbed,ā said KCR. KCR clarified that under the BRS party, the government has not only fought for Telangana irrigation and drinking water rights in the Telangana movement but also took the movement to the people.
āThe ill-advised attitude and approach of the Telangana Congress government is jeopardising the right to irrigation water of farmers in the state, especially those from south Telangana,ā KCR said.
Claiming that the decisions of the Congress government would lead to drinking water shortage in Rangareddy, erstwhile Nalgonda, erstwhile Khammam and erstwhile Mahbubnagar districts, KCR said that the party would lead a public movement to make Congress change their decision on handing over the projects to KRMB.
