KCR, who is currently in Delhi, is scheduled to meet leaders of various political parties, economists, and media personalities
By Newsmeter Network Published on 23 May 2022 12:26 PM GMTHyderabad: Depriving many of 'optics', Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will not be sharing the stage at the 20th anniversary of the Indian School of Business on 26 May 2022.
"Indian School of Business (ISB) on account of its 20th anniversary has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to participate in the first joint convocation. While the PMO has accepted the invitation and confirmed the visit, Telangana Chief Minister has wished ISB all the very best," Mr. Pillutla, ISB dean, told NewsMeter. Interestingly, KCR, much ahead of the PMO's confirmation, plunged into national politics and embarked on a country-wide yatra.
KCR, who is currently in Delhi, is scheduled to meet leaders of various political parties, economists, and media personalities. According to the itinerary, on 26 May (the day the PM will be in Hyderabad) KCR will visit Bangalore. He is scheduled to visit former Prime Minister Dev Gowda and meet former Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy.
On 27 May, he will travel to Ralegaon Siddi to meet prominent social activist Anna Hazare. KCR will also visit the Shirdi Sai Baba temple in Shirdi. Later, he will return to Hyderabad. On 29 and 30 May, KCR is scheduled to visit Bengal and Bihar. He will visit the families of soldiers who were martyred in the Galwan Valley. As previously announced by the Telangana government, KCR will support their families.
Meanwhile, according to the schedule, the Prime Minister will touch down at Begumpet domestic airport on 26 May and travel by road or by helicopter to the ISB campus. It should be recalled that KCR had skipped the inauguration of the Statue of Equality in the city on 20 May. Prime Minister Modi had inaugurated the statue. KCR, who was in a 'blow hot blow cold mood,' had cited bad health to stay away from the event depriving the public of some optics. Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan in a recent interview with a news channel spilled the beans about how KCR has maintained a distance from Raj Bhavan.
'We are honoured to have the Hon'ble Prime Minister join us at ISB's 20th year celebrations. Prime Minister will attend the graduation ceremony of the Post Graduate Programme Class of 2022 on May 26, 2022, and address the students of both Hyderabad and Mohali campuses. Prime Minister will plant a sapling, unveil a commemorative plaque and release the ISB MyStamp and Special Cover. He will also award medals to the academic scholars of excellence", added ISB's Dean.
