KCR visits city hospital for medical checkup; doctors conduct angiography

The office of the chief minister informed that besides a regular check-up, the CM is undergoing a heart angio test.

KCR visits city hospital for medical checkup; doctors conduct angiography

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been advised to rest for one week, following a master check up at a city hospital on Friday. The state head under- went a regular medical checkup and couple of scans, after he complained of pain in his left arm.

The doctors in an official statement said, " CM KCR has been complaining of weakness for over 2 days due to frequent meetings and travel. On Friday, he complained of pain in his left hand. Based on doctor's recommendation, the CM underwent multiple tests at the hospital. All reports have proven to be normal, there is no major complication". The doctors conducted ECG, Angiogram and MRI Scan, however all reports reflected normalcy.

The Chief Minister was seen accompanied by his wife Shobha, daughter and MLC K Kavitha, Son-TRS working president K.T Rama Rao , and Nephew and Rajya Sabha member J Santhosh Rao. Later Director General of Police M Mahendar Reddy and Hyderabad Commissioner C .V Anand visited the CM.

According to KCR's Personal Physician Dr. MV Rao, KCR visited the hospital for a preventive check-up. He said that the Chief Minister undergoes regular health checkups in February every year. "No blocks were found in the arteries, his blood pressure is normal, so is the cholesterol levels. The CM is witnessing pain due to stress caused in the cervical spin. It could be due to recent visits and meetings. Currently, the CM is under medical observation and will be discharged at 3 PM on Friday"- the doctors added.
