KCR visits hospital for check-up, doctors find small ulcer in stomach

He visited AIG hospitals after developing abdominal discomfort on Sunday morning

Hyderabad: After Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao developed abdominal discomfort on Sunday morning, he visited AIG Hospitals in Gachibowli here for a check-up.

Dr. D. Nageshwar Reddy, chairman and chief of gastroenterology of AIG Hospitals, released a medical bulletin.

According to the doctor, KCR developed abdominal discomfort on Sunday morning, following which Dr. Nageshwar Reddy examined him. “Following which CT and Endoscopy was performed. A small ulcer in the stomach was found, which is being managed medically,” read the statement.


KCR’s all other health parameters are normal and appropriate medication has been started by the doctors, it further said.

Earlier in the day, BRS MLC Kavitha, who arrived in Hyderabad after being questioned by ED, met her father KCR. Kavitha along with Telangana IT minister K.T. Rama Rao, finance minister Harish Rao, and minister Srinivas Goud went to Pragati Bhavan.
