KTR not to attend BRS office inauguration in Delhi; cites 'key meetings'
KCR will be inaugurating the `Bharat Rashtra Samiti' office in New Delhi on Wednesday afternoon.

Party has said KTR has several key meetings scheduled with international delegates and therefore he has been permitted by chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao to stay put in Hyderabad.
Greeting the party workers on the occasion of the inauguration of the BRS office in Delhi, KTR said, "Honorable Chief Minister KCR, who is leading the state of Telangana in the path of development, is entering into national politics for a qualitative change in the country. KCR is starting a new political trend for nationalism, just as he followed a revolutionary path to achieve a separate state. I am unable to attend the opening ceremony of the BRS office in Delhi with the special permission of Chief Minister's Party President K Chandrasekhara Rao. The decision comes in the wake of two key investment meetings scheduled earlier."
In the official statement, KTR further said that today's opening of BRS office is the beginning of qualitative change to come in the country and that the BRS will introduce all the public welfare and progress policies in Telangana to the whole country.
KCR will be inaugurating the `Bharat Rashtra Samiti' office in New Delhi on Wednesday afternoon.
Who-is-who of the TRS party will be part of the new journey except for party working president K. Taraka Rama Rao.
Days ago, the Election Commission of India, gave its nod to change the name of `Telangana Rashtra Samiti' to `Bharat Rashtra Samiti'. Later KCR held a program of "Bharat Rashtra Samiti" on December 9. He also outlined his party's programs.
He signed the official letter at 1.20 pm on Friday and sent it to the Election Commission. Later, KCR hoisted the BRS flag. Next on the agenda was the inauguration of the BRS office in Delhi.
While TRS MLC Kalkavuntla Kavita, who is currently facing the heat of the Enforcement Directorate and Central Bureau Of Investigation, will be attending the event.
According to the party statement, KTR is unable to attend BRS office inauguration ceremony in Delhi with special permission of Chief Minister Party President K Chandrasekhara Rao. The decision comes in the wake of two key investment meetings scheduled earlier.
This includes a pre-arranged meeting with the heads of the international divisions of the renowned automobile giant Maruti Suzuki. The delegation reached Hyderabad to have a special meeting with KTR. Sources said Japanese companies give high priority to things like time management and scheduling.
Consultation with the Suzuki company has been going on for some time now. The Inauguration of Bosch Headquarters at Salarpuria Knowledge Park will be held at 10.45 am.
In the background of these two important meetings, KTR, who was supposed to reach Delhi this morning, is unable to go. According to the statement, Chief Minister has permitted KTR to continue with his scheduled programme.
