There is a pall of gloom, as many Indian labourers from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and also Andhra Pradesh are dead.
Identification of bodies difficult
Thick black smoke engulfed the building within few hours and due to that most of them are reported to have died in the sleep.
The fire as it spread, has burnt the bodies and identification is difficult.
Government of India said that 50 of them were hospitalized but it is being said that more than 10 are in a critical state, according to sources.
Telugu Federation steps up
Venkat Koduri, President, Federation of Telugu Associations in Kuwait says, āThe mortal remains will be dispatched after all the bodies are identified. We are trying to help relatives to know the status of those who are injured, reaching out to the relatives of those dead as they too will require aid.ā
While Indian government has stepped up the process, anxious relatives are calling out to know the status of their loved ones.
