LB Nagar, Alwal, Sanath Nagar get TIMS; Rs 2679 Cr sanctioned

"Government has issued orders that the 4 super-specialty hospitals will function as autonomous institutions and will be named Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences, Gachibowli, Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences(TIMS) in L.B. Nagar, Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences in Alwal, and Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences, Sanathnagar," reads the order. Already, the TIMS hospital in Gachibowli has been in operation since last year.

Hyderabad: Telangana Government on Thursday issued for Construction of Super specialty Hospitals at L.B.Nagar, Alwal , and Sanathnagar, in the city at the cost of an amount of Rs.2679 crore.

"Government has issued orders that the ( 4 ) super-specialty hospitals will function as autonomous institutions and will be named Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences, Gachibowli, Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences(TIMS) in L.B. Nagar, Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences in Alwal, and Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences, Sanathnagar," reads the order. Already, the TIMS hospital in Gachibowli has been in operation since last year.



The order also reads Engineer - In-Chief ( R & B ) Department has submitted the estimates towards the construction of three Super - Specialty Hospitals in the following locations and requested to accord administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.2679 crore duly permitting him to invite bids on design-build mode on turnkey basis as was permitted for the Warangal Super-specialty Hospital.
