Lockdown in Telangana till June 19th: Revised Metro rail timings
By Newsmeter Network Published on 9 Jun 2021 8:15 AM GMTHyderabad: In view of the extended lockdown imposed in the state of Telangana till June 19th, the Hyderabad Metro rail authorities have revised the timings accordingly.
According to the revised time table, during the lockdown period beginning June 10th, the Hyderabad Metro Rail will start its first train from respective terminal stations at 7 am; while the last train will start at 5pm and end at the respective terminating stations by 6pm.
"For everyone's safety, passengers are also advised to strictly follow the COVID-19 Safety guidelines including social distancing, wearing of face masks, regular hand sanitisation and thermal screening, among others. On June 9th following a marathon meeting, The state cabinet has decided to give 11-hour relaxation in the Covid lockdown every day beginning June 10th. The relaxation will be from 6 am to 5 PM. There will be a one-hour grace period for people to reach home.
It also decided to enforce strict lockdown from 6 PM to 6 AM. In view of rising COVID cases in Satthupalli, Madhira, Nalgonda, Nagarjuna Sagar, Munugode, Devarakonda, Miryalguda Assembly segments, the cabinet decided to extend the lockdown.
