Long weekend ahead: TS declares Diwali holiday on 24 Oct
As per the original annual calendar, the holiday for Diwali was scheduled for 25 October which has now been amended to 24 October.

Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Thursday declared an official holiday for Diwali on 24 October, Monday. This means a long weekend for all government employees.
"In partial modification of the orders issued notifying the general holidays and optional holidays, government hereby declares general holiday on account of Deepavali on 24.10.2022 (Monday) instead of 25.10.2022 (Tuesday)," read the government order.
As per the original annual calendar, the holiday for Diwali was scheduled for 25 October which has now been amended to 24 October.
