Major IPS reshuffle: 15 Telangana top cops transferred
The Congress Government transferred 15 Senior IPS officers on the day the new DGP Dr Jitender was appointed

Hyderabad: In an another major bureaucrat reshuffle in the state, the Congress Government transferred 15 Senior IPS officers on the day the new DGP Dr Jitender was appointed.
IPS officer and Additional Director General of Police, Railways & Road Safety, Mahesh Bhagwat is posted as Additional Director General of Police (L&O), IPS officer Sudheer Babu is the new Rachakonda Commissioner, IPS officer Swathi Lakra appointed as the ADGP Organisation and Home Guard and IPS officer is posted as the Director-ACB.
A formal order was released by Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari in this regard on Wednesday.

Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat, IPS (1995), Additional Director General of Police, Railways & Road Safety, Telangana, Hyderabad is transferred and posted as Additional Director General of Police (L&O), Telangana, Hyderabad vice Sanjay Kumar Jain, IPS (1997) transferred.
Swati Lakra, IPS (1995), Additional Director General of Police, TGSP Battalions, Hyderabad is transferred and posted as Additional Director General of Police, Organization & Home Guards, Telangana, Hyderabad vice M Stephen Raveendra, IPS (1999) transferred.
Vijay Kumar, IPS (1997), Additional Director General of Police (Operations), Greyhounds & OCTOPUS, Telangana, Hyderabad is transferred and posted as Additional Director General of Police, Personnel, Telangana, Hyderabad. The Member of Service is also placed in full additional charge of the post of Additional Director General of Police, Welfare & Sports, Telangana, Hyderabad, until further orders.
On transfer, Sanjay Kumar Jain, IPS (1997) is posted as Additional Director General of Police, TGSP Battalions, Hyderabad vice Swati Lakra, IPS (1995).
