As reported by NewsMeter, the state is expected to see a wave of transfers in the coming days. "Expect a wave of transfers once the bifurcation of districts is completed. Not too long ago, 20 non-cadre officers were inducted into IPS. And another 10 officers who were recently promoted are awaiting postings. Also, a few DCP posts have to be filed up. Once the new districts come up, there will be a requirement for 18 IPS units," a top IPS officer requesting anonymity told NewsMeter.
