Major reshuffle: Andhra Pradesh government transfers 62 IAS officers

Amaravati: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Andhra Pradesh more than a month after N Chandrababu Naidu took over as the chief minister, 62 IAS officers were transferred.

A formal order was released by Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad in this regard. As per the orders, PS Girisha was appointed as the vice chairman and managing director of Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd.

On reporting to duty on Inter Cadre deputation, VRK Teja Mylavarapu, IAS (KL:2015) is posted as Director, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development.

Manazir Jeelani Samoon, a 2012 batch IAS officer, was appointed as the MD of Andhra Pradesh State Co-operative Marketing Federation (AP MARKFED).

Kritika Shukla, a 2013 batch IAS officer, was posted as the director of Intermediate Education. She was also given full additional charge (FAC) of the post of secretary, Board of Intermediate Education (BIE).

P Ravi Subash, a 2013 batch IAS officer, was appointed as the chairman and MD of Central Power Distribution Company Ltd (CPDCL), among others.

Ch Sridhar, IAS (2006), who is waiting for posting is posted as Commissioner, Minorities Welfare. The Member of Service is placed in full additional charge of the post of VC & MD Minorities Finance Corporation until further orders.

MV Seshagiri Babu, IAS (2006), Commissioner, Labour is transferred and posted as Inspector General, Stamps & Registrations vice V Ramakrishna, IRS, transferred.

G Rekha Rani, IAS (2008), Secretary to Government, Public Enterprises Department is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Handlooms & Textiles

Chevvuru Hari Kiran, IAS (2009), who is waiting for posting is posted as, Director, Public Health and Family welfare. The Member of Service is also placed in full additional charge of the post of M.D. National Health Mission until further orders.

The services of G Veerapandian, IAS (2009), V.C & M.D., A.P. Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd., are withdrawn from Consumer Affairs, Food & Civil Supplies Department and placed at the disposal of Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Department for posting him as Chief Executive Officer, Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP).
