Make a doctor next Telangana health minister, ask junior doctors as 15 physicians win MLA seats
Junior docs asked Congress leaders to appoint a doctor as the health minister of Telangana given the large number of new MLAs elected this time having a medical background.

From general physicians to neurologists, from orthopaedic surgeons to ophthalmologists, the new 119-seat Telangana Assembly is well-equipped with medical experts to ensure a healthy state and citizens.
In fact, the Telangana Junior Doctorsā Association (T-JUDA) has requested the Congress leaders to appoint a doctor as the health minister of Telangana given the large number of new MLAs elected this time having a medical background.
They have tweeted an open letter requesting a health minister from among the doctor-MLAs.
āDoctors have a detailed grasp of the healthcare system. Due to years of training and practical experience, they have a clear insight into the complexities of patient care, hospital management, and the intricate dynamics of the medical profession. Their expertise helps to craft policies that prioritize patient well-being and improve healthcare efficiency thereby promoting a healthy state. Therefore, we request a doctor to be appointed as state health minister,ā the T-JUDA members said in the open letter.
T-JUDA tagged TPCC president Revanth Reddy, INC-Telangana chapter and Rahul Gandhi in the tweet.
