Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu on Monday said that an investigation is in progress concerning the three FIRs pertaining to conflicts within the family of veteran actor Manchu Mohan Babu.
Speaking to the media persons here, Sudheer Babu said that Mohan Babu has stated that he is ill and under medical supervision. Therefore, his statement has not yet been recorded in the family feud that occurred at his Jalpally residence.
āWe have served notices to the veteran actor. The Telangana High Court exempted Mohan Babu from appearing before the police for questioning until December 24. We will obey the High Court's orders. If there is no response after that, we will once again issue notices to Mohan Babu seeking his appearance before the investigation officials,ā he said.
He further said, "If the actor can be examined before December 24, we will also see the possibility of approaching the court seeking permission." He also said that the veteran actor does not have any gun license under the jurisdiction of Rachakonda Commissionerate and the latter had surrendered his guns at Chandragiri in Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh.

āMohan Babu has two gunsā
āWe have received information that Mohan Babu has two guns with him. In the notices served to the actor, we asked Mohan Babu to deposit his two guns with him anywhere,ā Sudheer Babu said.
Regarding Mohan Babu's visit to Yashoda Hospital to meet with the TV journalist who was hurt in his attack and his allegation that he had health problems while flying to Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, Sudheer Babu said that the investigating authorities would confirm these developments.
On December 11, Sudheer Babu counselled renowned actor Mohan Babu's two sons, Manchu Manoj and Manchu Vishnu, regarding the Manchu family's ongoing conflict. Initially, Manchu Manoj appeared before the Rachakonda Police Commissioner after receiving a notice under Section 126 (wrongful restraint) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) regarding the uncomfortable environment brought on by a recent family fight.
Later, Manchu Vishnu also appeared before the commissioner to deliver the court orders and reassure the authorities that there would be no more disruptions.
