Missing girl case: Here are minute-to-minute details of Rachakonda police operation

Her body has been taken to Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad. Police will conduct an autopsy and release medical reports as quickly as possible.
The search began when the police received a missing complaint at 11:59 am on December 15.
The complaint was given by her father informing them that his younger daughter was missing from school.
Here's what happened
At 12:03 p.m., a police patrol car-I arrived on the scene and spoke with the complainant; the incident was reported to SHO Jawahar Nagar.
SHO Jawahar Nagar and all available employees hurried to the 10-year-old's school and interacted with school staff and classmates to extract information about the missing girl's whereabouts.
Police launched a search in adjacent areas. Cops also started scanning CCTV cameras. Special teams including SOT, Clues Team, and IT core were also pressed into service to help trace the girl.
Lookout alerts were sent to all police stations via the internet and VHF broadcast. The missing girl's details were shared with print and electronic media.
Police also used the IT core team to scan CCTV footage.
Police followed a trial of CCTV footage that showed a girl going towards Ambedkar Nagar. Police scanned all CCTVS. However, after Ambedkar Nagar, no CCTVs were installed.
A dog squad was pressed into service to locate the girl. Later the body was fished out from the lake.
Police also found that some miscreants were circulating fake social media videos about the girl. Police said action will be taken against those who are circulating fake videos to provoke people.
